Mission Trips

As part of the Great Commission, God's people are instructed to take the Good News of Jesus Christ to the very ends of the earth! We are called to GO! Sometimes that may mean we go to our neighbor across the street or to travel to another part of the world so that God will be glorified. We recognize that the Good News includes both words and deeds, so we seek to leverage all aspects of our lives for the sake of the Gospel.

Each year, H2O arranges multiple outreach and mission trip opportunities to specifically serve both our local communities and the world abroad. The majority of our mission trips that are typically 7-12 days long and take place during BGSU's J-Term and Spring Break. H2O partners with several national and international missions organizations who held provide unique opportunities that are not only designed to leave a positive impact on the community but also equip participants with valuable life experience while strengthening their faith.

J-Term Guatemala Mission Trip

January 7 - 14

We are partnering with Hope Renewed International (hope-renewed.org) who is dedicated to renewing hope by living out and proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, improving quality of life, providing relief to those in need, and providing opportunities to those who may not otherwise have them. We will help in various communities including the largest slum in Latin America, a garbage dump where people live and work, and a girl’s home for children with severe abuse in their backgrounds. We hope to expand our worldview while sharing Christ with those around us.

Trip Cost: $1800-$2100 (Financial Support Raising training is available.)
