Have you ever wondered why Christians still read the Old Testament law? Christ fulfilled the law, and we are set free from its condemnation, right? Yes, absolutely! At the same time, the law is a guide that expresses God's life-giving will for his people. Rather than dry, irrelevant legal material, the law is an important part of God's salvation story for the world.

UNDERSTANDING AND ENGAGING THE BIBLE

The Bible is vital to our walk as Christians, but can be confusing and difficult to navigate. This class is designed to give you an understanding of what the Bible is, how it came to exist, strategies for reading, and how to connect with God deeper through it.
Class Length: 3 Weeks

PARENTING CLASS - MIDDLE YEARS (8-12YRS)

The middle-years is one of the most amazing phases of childhood and unsuspicious time for parents. It is a season in which that son or daughter in your home is too old to be called a child, but too young to be labeled an adolescent. Life in the Middle Years brings the needed knowledge and understanding that can help any parent make wise training decisions.

MOPs stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, but mom of children of all ages are welcome! MOPs is designed to offer a space of spiritual community for moms and their kids. It includes times of learning/study, discussion, and of course play!.
Wednesdays: 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month at 9:30am at Alliance Church (1161 Napoleon Rd.)
